Years ago the so-called common knowledge was these Cocking Handle Bridge Retaining Screws broke easily and it was a weak point in the Winchester 1400 shotgun. Mine has been used for skeet and hunting for 43 years and has never had a problem. As I was ordering other parts I bought this screw for a spare -- just in case.
