Auto-5 12 Gauge Composite Stock Set

I actually had to do a significant amount of sanding on the barrel channel of the fore-end so that there was no contact with the sides of barrel. I even had to essentially, shorten the fore-end by sanding the receiving end of it, otherwise the barrel came too far forward out of the receiver and risked banging the bolt handle on the front of the ejection port. I sanded the inside of the fore-end too because the recoil spring dragged inside of it quite a bit. I had to put about 4 hours of work into the fore-end. The buttstock was fine.

The main reason I bought this stock set was to save the wood on my Browning 3 inch Auto-5. I plan on using it for waterfowl hunting. The stock and forearm fit the gun right out of package. I have saved the wood from moisture and other elements that may hurt the wood finish. It seems to be very strong.

Length of pull was shorter than factory. It feels like good quality. No fitting was required. Cost almost as much as a wood replacement.

Great upgrade for my modified '39 Belgium a-5! The stock was a little tight and could have fit better on the bottom tang but was fine for a home defense gun.The big improvement was the front stock as it had a much better feel and was thicker than the factory stock which was cracked and the only thing I didn't like about the a-5. I run a 8 round mag and a 21"barrel so I had to cut down the stock a little.No problem for me but others may need a gunsmith for this job.This is the only tactical stock I could find for this gun online.My gunsmith was also impressed with this stock as it brings the auto 5 right into the 21 century!! I'd say if you if you want to build a tactical style auto 5 get this while you still can-I love mine! Very happy,thanks!

Haven't shot it yet, but it looks and feels pretty good. The only thing I noticed is the stock is a little smaller overall and especially in the grip area and where it meets the receiver.

Minor fitting for a perfect installation

I am very pleased with the stock set I ordered. It was purchased for a Light 12 A5 my daughter received as a gift from her uncle. It is solid not hollow and the fit is very good. I had already talked to Champion before I purchased because I will need to shorten the buttstock to fit my daughter. Champion informed me that up to an inch could be trimmed from this stock. It looks good and fits good. No complaints as of yet.

Stock fits very well, forearm required slight modification to fit around barrel. Looks great!

Purchased this stock to replace the cracked but and foregrip of my Grandfathers Belgian made magnum Auto 5. Easy to follow instructions. Had to remove the tube in the foregrip. Highly recommend to anyone to breath new life into their Auto 5. Cannot wait to take might out and do some shooting.

Wrong part butt great service

Fit my old a5 with very little effort. Slight drag on the forearm that will have to be opened a little. Feels like pretty good quality for the money
