I ordered this nut hoping it would work to mount the AC-Unity hand-guard that is made for a 9mm carbine. It is the very size I needed and mounts the hand-guard securely. Being able to use the tool that tightens the carbine buffer tube nut is a real big plus. Any hand-guard that clamps to a nut of this diameter and length, 1.362" X 1.625, would benefit greatly from its use.
