This follower is designed for the 12 gauge 930 and 935 Mossberg shotgun models. The magazine follower is located on the end of the magazine spring inside the magazine tube and is the base that pushes shotgun shells down toward the receiver. Replaced the follower which I had previously purchased as a suitable substitute. It worked until it didn't! Lesson learned...always use OEM parts on your firearms.
