Love this 2 piece latch. Should be standard equipment on all Benelli's. This shell latch also works on 12 gauge 3" benelli's, won't work on 3.5" Benelli's. Have tried it on 12 gauge and 20 gauge Montefeltro's, M2's and 12 gauge UltraLight. Works on all of them. The bolt release button itself is a bit larger than the one on the 1 piece shell latch, which is an added bonus. Makes loading effortless.

This product was easy to install and cured the thumb sorness of loading shells in the 20g. Works for montefeltro and franchi.

I own a few M2 20 gauge and all are (or were) very difficult to load into the magazine without the carrier taking a “bite” out of my thumb every time. This product showed an immediate improvement. Have a Franchi Affinity 20 that is even worse on the thumb. This is a known issue yet Benelli has been somewhat silent. I even reached out to Benelli prior to taking a chance on this item...no response from Benelli. This item, even though having just installed makes a big difference. Will see if it holds up to high volume upland and clay shooting.
