Included in the assembly is the recoil spring tube, stock retaining nut screw, gas plug spring, recoil buffer, recoil buffer spring, and recoil spring plunger. This recoil spring tube assembly, which is threaded into the rear of the receiver, is responsible for returning the bolt assembly back into battery after the gun has been fired.
