Description: The AAC BLACKOUT flash suppressor is the most efficient design available. The proprietary features eliminate muzzle flash, even on CQB-length barrels. The BLACKOUT is inherently stronger and more impact resistant than four prong designs, while not being subject to the rapid erosion of closed-ended units. A high strength corrosion-resistant aerospace alloy, and ultra-hard SCARmor finish provide the highest level of durability. Military tested and selected.

I have to use it since I ran AAC M4 2000 suppressor on my ARs. Meets all the required parameters to fit very well on my 5.56x45 barrels. I have own 4 of those. No issues!

The aac blackout flash hider rings like a tuning fork when you shoot. I can sometimes hear it ring even when shooting with a suppressor. All the other aac muzzle devices I would recommend over this one.
