The plate is designed to be used with the 509 Tactical pistol chambered in 9mm when installing a Vortex Venom / Viper, Burris, or Docter red dot sight system. The plate features the appropriate cuts and post levels to securely retain your favorite red dot sight to the slide of the 509 Tactical.
