Description: FN 509 Tactical MRD Insert, RMR (506). Constructed of a resilient black polymer, this MRD insert for the Trijicon RMR sight systems is a factory original component of FN America. The insert is designed for use with the 509 Tactical model of pistol chambered in 9mm when installing an RMR red dot sight from Trijicon. The insert features the appropriate cutouts and construction to securely retain your RMR to the slide of the 509 Tactical. FNH small parts are made to the same quality standard that you would find from any other FN firearm or component.

parts fits as described but still waiting on backorder part 502 to mount on fn 509 tactical to be able to install.

I originally purchased the vortex red dot combo, which unknown to me DOES NOT come with the RMR optic plate. Couldn’t find the RMR FN factory optic plate anywhere! It was sold out everywhere! Not to mention it is a two part plate. Then by dumb luck, I ran into this one piece plate that fit like a glove. Not to mention it’s one whole STEEL piece that fits beautifully The way the originally plate should have been made. Not to mention the attention to detail is astonishing. Makes no sense to me why FN didn’t make the original optic mount plate exactly like this to begin with. Thank you MIDWEST GUNWORKS!!
