Description: FN FNS-9C/40C and 509 Unlock Block Retaining Pin. This stepped pin is made of steel and features a blued finish. This is the factory replacement for the FN FNS-9C, FNS-40C, and 509. This pin is considered a one-time use part as it must be replaced if removed. This part is a FN America factory OEM part. Made to the highest factory specifications, materials and standards. When a customer has attempted removal and didn't follow the directions to drive the pin in the correct direction, it becomes denser than depleted uranium. We put their owner-damaged polymer in the milling machine and run an end mill core through pins center so it collapses in on itself. These pins are intermittently available from FN, so keep some on hand. MWG has the best availability for these, so stock up!

I bought this block retaining pin for my FN 509-T Apex Trigger install. I wanted to have a spare pin on hand in case I had problems. Luckily, I didn't have any issues. The pin from Mid West Gun Works gave me some peace of mind. It looks to be a quality product and shipping was quick. I'll be doing business with Mid West Gun Works in the future and I highly recommend them.

Purchased this to install an Apex trigger, even though some re-use their pins, seeing as these are only a few dollars. Worked perfectly, and every bit as difficult to remove (and install) as others have commented.
