Description: FN 509 Enclosed Striker, New Style. Machined from quality steel, this enclosed striker is designed for New Style FN 509 pistol models. The striker is responsible for transferring the striker spring's kinetic energy into the primer of an unspent round during operation. This genuine component is perfect to use as a replacement for worn or missing parts.
Note: It is recommended that all FN America parts be installed by a qualified and trained gunsmith.

This is exactly what you want right here. Reduced the trigger pull weight by a noticeable amount. It is that or it makes the trigger pull way smoother and it makes it feel that way. Also is a much more durable design. This is the best upgrade to the 509 you can do and I'm happy FN stopped producing the old striker.

Night and day better than stock, absolute must buy. Head to head with the shootingsight striker I feel that this is 85% of it. Pretty much if you want more of what this striker does to improve the trigger, you will end up paying nearly 100% more for a small upgrade. And if water performance and an FN name is more important to you, well, you decide.
