Description: FN 509 Threaded Barrel, 4.5" 9mm. Hammer-forged from durable steel, this 4.5" barrel is designed for the FN 509 pistol chambered in 9mm. This genuine barrel features a 1:10 RH twist rate, 1/2" x 28 thread pitch, a recessed target crown, and a polished chamber and feed ramp. This genuine barrel is a drop-in replacement for worn or missing parts. This barrel does not come with a thread protector.
Note: It is recommended that all FN America parts be installed by a qualified and trained gunsmith.

It's an FN Barrel... of course its GREAT!!

I was going to get an Apex threaded barrel but was waiting on a sale, they were kinda pricey... but then I got an email from MGW with an actual FN threaded Barrel (hence the review) for a price I could not refuse... it is excellent and works absolutely great with my comped 509.
The Apex did finally go on sale - this barrel was still cheaper. Love Apex, but they aren't FN...
