If you are swapping out recoil tubes on a benelli m4 this ring is what you need to make the job easier. This ring is necessary to retain the plunger in the tube if you are moving your old tubes parts into a new one. Trying to remove the one from your old tube is a PITA. safe yourself a headache a buy one of these rings.

This is the ring that keeps the spring and plunger in place. You cannot remove this from old tube, well you can but it will take as much time as the recoil tube swap and you will most likely damage the original tube. This is all avoided for a the small cost of this part. Frankly MGW should just include this with the tube and add the cost saving their customers the time and headache!!!!!!!
