I had a Picatinny rail that screwed into the top of the receiver and sat flush. This was great for getting the center line of the bore close the center line of the scope but... The bolt handle ran right into my new expensive nightforce rings, couldn't run the bolt forward. This Warne Rail Adapter has the correct height to elevate the rings above the bolt handle. This rail is well made, it slid over the 11mm dovetail perfectly. I liked the 5 clamping screws, this provides a very solid clamping force on that 11mm dovetail. The 15 MOA is all I need at the range I'm shooting at. It is made of 7075 Aluminum so its solid and light weight. Over all very well made and worth the money. Made in the U.S.A.
