Machined from quality steel with a matte-blued finish, this extended takedown lever is designed for the Sig Sauer P226 and P226 XFIVE model pistols. This factory-original takedown lever features an extended lever face that acts as a thumb rest to help reduce muzzle flip.
Note: It is recommended that all Sig Sauer parts be installed by a qualified and trained gunsmith.

My Sig 226 X5 is one of my most accurate pistols but when I saw the gas pedal option I decided to try it. Bottom line, it allows your support thumb to contribute much more to the stability of the gun which significantly improved my accuracy.
