Description: Glock Slide Lock Spring / Firing Pin Safety Spring, 9mm & .380 Auto Slim (G42, G43, G43X & G48). This is a factory original Glock spring designed for Slimline series pistol models chambered in either 9mm or .380 Auto. Two of these coil springs are used in the pistol; as the slide lock spring and the firing pin safety spring. The slide lock spring sits below the slide lock within the frame to provide upward pressure to the lock for proper functionality. The spring gives pressure to the firing pin safety to ensure the safety prevents movement of the firing pin until the pistol is properly fired. This part is made to the same high standards in material and workmanship as the parts that originally came in your Glock firearm, and is perfect as a replacement to worn/damaged components, or to have as a spare to keep your Glock in top operating condition.

Because straight Glock springs are tough to use in a 3D printed Glock frame, some designers are switching to this slide lock spring. This spring works perfectly. Good product, good price.

simple replacement glock spring, made the G42 feel like new again, great replacement to have on hand as a spare so when the carpet monster eats it, you won't miss range day........ask me how I know. Also works in other glock pistols as a firing spring as well, not a bad thing to have in the tool box/spare parts bin.
