Description: Lancer Systems L5 Advanced Warfighter Magazine, 30 Round 5.56mm/.223cal, Translucent Smoke. This magazine features a translucent smoke body and holds 30 rounds of 5.56x45mm / .223 Rem. ammunition. Made in the USA, this hybrid magazine from Lancer was designed to maintain the reliability of steel and the durability of polymer, while keeping weight to a minimum. This magazine features an aggressive surface texture along with a one-piece, wrap-around style steel feed lip assembly. It also has round count markers for easy view of remaining rounds. The internal geometry of the Advanced Warfighter Magazine is a constant curvature utilizing a non-tilting follower for reliable feeding of 5.56X45mm NATO ammunition. The body and component materials are corrosion and chemical resistant, passing military chemical testing. Made from steel and polymer components, this unloaded magazine weighs 4.48 oz.

The magazine is compatible with modern weapon systems chambered in 5.56x45mm / .223 Rem. including: M4/M16/AR-15, SCAR16, HK416, ARX100, SIG556, ACR, and SA80.

Top-tier 5.56 mags, also work in .458 SOCOM

Lancers are (like Gen 3 P-Mags) one of the best-in-class, top-tier 5.56x45 mags. And Lancers are the mags that Wilson Combat sells (with slight alteration) for use with their .458 SOCOMs.

I absolutely love lancer mags. I've never had a malfunction with one and -in my personal opinion- I believe they are better than magpul pmags. The translucent smoke color is not that dark and the rounds are easily visible. Also lancer mags have metal feed lips which aids in durability and subsequently reliability. My only gripe with them is the price and that's just about it. Also, if you run suppressed, the insides of the mag will get fairly dirty after a while and can make it hard to see through.
