Browning A-5 Shotgun Forearm, 12 Gauge

I recently purchased a replacement forearm for my Browning A-5 Light Twelve shotgun manufactured in Belgium in 1958. The MGW forearm was perfect in fit and finish and required no adjustment.

Wonderful quality, fit, finish. Just very minor fit adjustment. Would differently buy from Midwest again.

Put it on a 1952 Browning light 12 and it fit perfectly

I had purchased a Browning 12ga Shotgun and convinced myself that the forearm was plastic so was happy to find this one for sale. Upon replacing found out that I was wrong and installed on was wood and coloring was off so I installed the new one from Midwest and the gun looks great again.

Bought the forearm for this shotgun and it looked so great that I ordered the butt stock also . It was easier than fixing the forearm crack and refinishing the old parts. Took some minor fitting ; but no problems.Customer was absolutely thrilled .

Fits my 1966 light 12 great. Feels a little thicker than the old one but in a good way. Matches the stock. Many thanks for helpful phone information before and after the purchase.

Fit perfect Looks great I am the original owner of this shotgun purchased in 1971

I only replaced the forearm on mine and it was a prefect fit. Color did not match the original stock but how can I possibly expect them to know what the color of my current gun is. It arrived in a dark brown shade, my gun was a little more dark blonde. I'm confident if I replaced both at the same time they would do a great job at color matching. It arrived with with a wooden dowel that fit very snug on the inside channel. This is to protect it during shipping. A good grip with a pliers and it came out fine.

This fit perfectly on my 37 year old Browning Auto-5 Light. The only thing is the color is a little bit lighter then the original forearm

This is absolutely a perfect replacement for my old worn and cracked Auto 5 forearm. It far exceeded my expectations. The wood grain and color actually matches the stock better than the original forearm from the Browning Factory. I installed this new forearm along with a new bronze friction ring and a new recoil spring also from MGW and it made my old humpback look and shoot like new again.

It looks great and is slightly thicker than my original forearm which cracked after 50 years. The more robust construction is better, stronger and has a better feel than the old one. Good for another 50 years.

This forearm fit my Belgium made Auto 5 12 ga. Light perfectly with no modification. Checkering and finish are great but it does not match the reddish finish of my 1968 model, but that was to be expected.
