I was having issues feeding with my M42 and concluded it was the Cartridge Cuttoff Assembly. I probably could have bent it to solve the problem, but I did not initially understand what "bend the arc" really meant, until later. Nevertheless, I ordered a replacement. I did have to gently grind off a portion with the grinder and file to get the part to fit correctly. I appears there were different variations of the fitmit over the years. Great service from MGW and glad they had the part. Some guy on Youtube has a great video on how to disassemble the M42 to get to this part. Without this video I would have not had the confidence I had to replace this part.

The discription said it may not fit American made model 42's and it did not.
I took a chance and lost, no big deal.
Fast shipping and the part seemed well made, but only buy one for a Japan made shotgun.
