This timing Latch must be used on type 1 and 2 Browning BAR rifles if you are using a new style bolt sleeve.

Browning BAR History
The production of the BAR high power rifle began in 1967 and lasted through 1992. The BAR Mark II series was introduced in 1993 and is still in production.

In 1969 Browning started using two digits for the date of manufacture: M=BAR High Power Rifle This was then followed by the serial number beginning with 1000. Example: 69M1000 = A 1969 BAR High Power rifle with a serial number of 1000. |
