Description: Browning Factory BBR replacement barrel ▪ These BBR Barrels are new but, have been in storage for many years. They show typical bin wear i.e. some scratches etc. • Barrel is stamped "Browning Arms Company Morgan, Utah & Montreal P.Q. Made in Japan" ▪ Plain barrel no sights or screw holes ▪ Note: These were complete barreled actions. The receiver was cut in half so there is NO FFL required . Front half of receiver is still attached to the barrel and the recoil lug and receiver insert are present. This barrel will fit ALL Browning BBR rifles manufactured from 1978 through 1984. Will not fit the Browning A-Bolt. It is recommended that all Browning BBR Rifle parts be installed by a qualified and trained gunsmith. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

The production of the Browning BBR rifle began in 1978 and was offered in the Long or Standard Action Calibers of .25-06 Rem, .270 Win, .30-06 Sprg, 7mm Rem Mag, .300 Win Mag, or .338 Win Mag and Short Action Calibers of .22-250 Rem., .243 Win, .257 Roberts, 7mm-08 Rem, or .308 Win. The production of the BBR bolt action rifle ended in 1984 when Browning introduced the A-Bolt.
