My UDX stainless came with a 5.5 flat-sided barrel. It was just fine and shot well. Then I replaced it a 4" to make it lighter but not as accurate.Too much muzzle movement.I've always been curious with the longer barrel and after shooting it for the first time I think the balance is perfect and much easier to shoot accurately. It's about 5 oz. heavier but still around 39 oz unloaded. If you are looking for a new target pistol just change out the barrel and it will be your new favorite plinker.

This barrel gets me tighter groups than the flat side 5 1/2” barrel that came with my gun. Much much less muzzle flip also. If you are shooting bullseye targets this is the barrel for the job.

First I really appreciate MGW wait list option. It saved me lots of time searching constantly to find the product. Second, the 7 1/2" barrel makes the Buckmark an entirely new gun. The longer sight radius and extra weight tightened my groups measurably, and with the easy addition of F/O sights, it's simply a joy to shoot.

It is an easy swap in without too much drama. The barrel bolt needs to be firmly set.
