While I worried it wouldn’t fit and or, wouldn’t have sights. Both worked out perfectly. If you have a 5.25 barrel as I had, I was close to buying a new gun just to have the 4”. But 3 screws and 30 seconds of effort and this fits perfectly. Cost $60 for the barrel. Thanks for selling, saved me a bunch in money and in safe storage space.

I have an older model Browning Buckmark with a 6” barrel - my Dad bought three of them when they first came out, and I now have his and mine. I decided to try a shorter barrel on mine, and ordered the 4”. It fit perfectly, but when I shot the pistol, I had continued problems with failures to eject. Upon returning home and checking the barrel next to my original one, I noticed that the ejector grove was not cut as deep in the new barrel. Indeed, the old one had barely a sliver of metal between the ejector groove and the chamber, whereas the new on had about .03” - not much, but enough to prevent the ejector from fully engaging the rim of the cartridge. I have not done so yet, but I figure a little filing of the grove and a polish of the chamber will fix the problem. Otherwise, this barrel is excellent - front sight IS installed, and the polish on the flats is great and blueing is deep like the original.

I was concerned about how the finish would look on this barrel, but I can happily report the blueing was perfect! Comes with front sight installed, and installation on the Buckmark was easy. Another great acquisition from MGW.

Just what I needed. This is a genuine Browning Barrel. The 4" length is much better than the stock 5.5" barrel. Accurate and easy to fit. Comes with a basic front sight. I swapped the fiber optic front sight from the original barrel and put it on this one.
