This Sure Cycle stock bolt system is an all stainless steel replacement unit of the factory system under the buttstock of 12 gauge Beretta Xtrema shotguns. The high strength stainless tube eliminates the breakage problems associated with the factory thin wall aluminum tube and has no inertial mass dampener inside. These internal parts, which Beretta labels as the inertial mass dampener, are nothing more than a stainless steel weight and spring. The removal of the components reduces the shotgun's weight by half a pound and has no affect on the cycling reliability or felt recoil.
