Beretta A400 Kick-Off Cover, Black Rubber

This part is essential to keep your gun in great shape. This part will fail after 5-10 years of use just from the oil on your hands and handling the gun. They recommend taking your gun to a gunsmith to replace this but its very easy to do yourself. The most important thing is having a 13 mm socket or deep socket and an extension for your wrench. It took me about 10 minutes to take my gun apart and replace this part and put it back together. I have been hunting for a few weeks with my gun since this replacement and it looks like brand new. At first I was afraid I would need to replace my whole stock but this part is all that is needed and its only 30.00.

The Kick-Off Cover is just like the one that rotted away in the first place. I called Beretta and told them about it. They said it was a "consumable." I informed the guy that I had a 40 year old Browning that still had the butt stock pad on it and it didn't seem to be "consumable." The product is a perfect fit and just like the one you are replacing......that got consumed.

This hard to find part required some fitment work as the new style part does not incorporate the two rounded cut outs near the bottom inside surface as shown in the picture which are necessary to compensate for the stock profile.
