Beretta PX4 Large Safety Lever Assembly, 92FS Style

I liked my PX4 compact ok before, but now I love it after adding the 92FS style safety and a pachmayr rubber grip. The stock safety is unusable and it hurts the thumb. My only other recourse would be to remove the ball detent, converting it to a G-style decocker-only. With the 92FS style safety I can keep the safety and it's now usable. I will say, however, that I had to remove the ball detent from my stock safety and put it into this safety, which required a very small punch (you will likely need a punch set to install this safety regardless). With the ball-detent that came in the new 92FS safety it had too much detention and was too hard to deactivate. Please keep that in mind. It's actually most likely the ball detent spring and not the ball itself that was the culprit, so if yours is too stiff you may be able to replace the spring or cut it down ever-so-slightly. I'm happy with mine regardless

Easy install great feel

Love these. They have more rounded edges but are about just as wide as the originals. Install was ok as a first timer. Banging on my new baby worried me a bit, but as long as the safety is kept at the correct angle while knocking out the pin the rest is easy.

I replaced the decocker/safety on my px4 9mm and 45 and they are both still type F which is what I wanted. They don’t dig into my hands like the factory parts and if I get the pxr 40S&W I intend to put one on that too…
