A hunting buddy and I bought new A400’s in 2021 and we both had issues for two huntings season with light primer strikes. His was so bad it wouldn’t fire at all. I replaced hammer springs in both of our guns and never had one problem during the spring snow goose season.

Fixed weak hammer strike

After just one year of owning my Beretta A400 Xtreme Plus, I started getting consistently weak hammer strikes. After some research, it didn't seem to be necessarily a common issue, but had happened a few times to different people. I found a recommendation to replace the hammer spring with this version, which is slightly stiffer than the original factory spring (even though it is still an A400 hammer spring). It fixed the issue immediately and has worked for a few hundred rounds. I obviously can't evaluate it on a real long term yet, but for the moment I am happy.
