Description: FN SCAR 15P/16S/17S/20S Locking Plate. Machined from quality steel, this locking plate is designed for FN SCAR 15P, 16S, 17S, and 20S model friearms. The locking plate helps lock the hammer and the hammer pin in place within the lower receiver. This component is perfect to use as an immediate replacement for worn or missing parts.
Note: It is recommended that all FN America parts be installed by a qualified and trained gunsmith.

The FN SCAR 17S that I received, curiously, had no locking plate in the trigger mechanism. It was completely missing. The part from MGW solved out problem.
