I purchased the spare FN firing pin for my SCAR 17S along with some other small FN parts that I thought that I might need in the future. Getting parts for SCARs is always iffy and I was really surprised that MGW had everything that I wanted in stock. It's never a bad idea to have a spare firing pin and or extractor in your kit. The quality of this FN pin is remarkable. I eyed the aftermarket offerings for a while but men much wiser then myself advised against titanium in 762 so I waited for a notification from MGW. I'm glad I did.
