I had to order this nut for a mid 90s model Remington Express 870 magnum 3" chamber gun. Had to break the old nut to get it off and this fit perfectly.

Ordered this for my 12g 870 and this piece is smaller then the orignal and does not fit.

Couldn’t be happier with my purchase except for not having the tool needed to properly tighten it. We got through it with a little old school engineering, and it works great.
