Needed a new forearm for my Ruger/Marline 1894

Rifle came with black laminated stocks, and they are quite handsome but for me like more natural appearing wood on my rifles. Ordered the brown laminated one as shown and very high quality and fit quite easily with removal of front end cap and loosening of magazine tube, about 10 -15 minute job. Also replaced the butt stock wth what I call tiger stripped maple wood which is outstanding as well and a very simple job to replace one screw, pull butt stock off and replace with high grade stock, gun is now complete.
