Updating old timer

Decided to finally restore my Marlin 336,the first gun i ever purchased. Its been used in the fields for many years and even after several other favorites have been added i pulled it out of the back of the safe and decided to bring it out to get back in the field. While going over the firearm i realized i never liked the sling mount i had settled on some 40 years ago. that clamp on swivel while functional was an eyesore to me. It moved side to side and slid down the tube, no way to fix it. Well after looking for a year finally the band was available and its perfect. looks like it should have come that way. Thanks MGW.
