Description: Remington Rifle Butt Plate Insert. Made from a black polymer, this butt plate insert is a Remington factory original part. The insert is designed to fit butt plate frames of Remington Model 552, 572, 581, 597, 700, 7400 & 7600 rifles. Fitting by a qualified gunsmith may be required. This insert is installed into the butt plate frame to cap-off and complete the butt plate assembly of the stock. The insert is made to the same factory specifications, materials and standards as the original parts in your firearm.
