I was so happy to finally find a replacement for the missing rear sight elevator that my dad removed in 1973 when he mounted the scope. I recently decided i wanted to restore my 39A to its original condition. this item was slightly thicker than the original but it works.

Exactly as the title says. They give fair warning before you buy the part that it is specific to certain marlin glen fields model years. I knew going into my purchase that it was either going to be tight or loose. Thankfully it was tight and all I had to do was shave some of the metal down on both sides and repaint it. It fits great and slides just like I needed it to. Just in case it helps someone in the future, I have a 1981 Marlin Glenfield model 60.

Read reviews about getting thi kernel material so went with .08 thickness.
It is too thick will not fit in sights groove. Old Marlin semi auto 22 late 60's series
I will get thinner replacement, will keep what I ordered for my other Marlin rifles. It could be a spare for the bigger bore Marlin rifles I have.
