Description: Lyman 66 Receiver "Peep" Sights. The Lyman 66 "peep" sight will improve the accuracy of your hunting rifle with a 66 Receiver Sight.
The 66 sight is designed for mounting on flat receivers, such as lever action rifles, like the Winchester 94, Marlin 336 or modern shotguns, there's even a model for the SKS. Features include 1/4 minute audible click micrometer adjustments for elevation and windage, quick-release slide, coin-slotted "stayset" knobs and two interchangeable aperture discs (large hunting aperture and small target aperture) for any shooting condition.

Ordered this for my Marlin 39A while the sights were on back-order. In the mean time, I put a different rear peep aperture sight on the gun. Several months later I was informed that the Lyman 66 sight was back in stock. I considered cancelling the order but really liked the old Lymans, so I went ahead and ordered it.
Glad I did. With the globe front sight and interchangeable front inserts, this site increased accuracy immensely. The skinny little post in the front coupled with that finely adjustable rear peep, is the cats meow. No comparison to the other setup with a bead front sight. And with the lyman, you can slide the sight up out of the mount for cleaning and it slides back in and locks exactly where it was. Holds the zero, so no resighting it in. Love this thing!!
