| Note: Browning B2000 12 gauge shotgun owners. This stock was originally manufactured to fit the Browning B2000 20 gauge shotgun. It will however fit the Browning B2000 12 gauge shotgun also. The wood to metal fit will be slightly different than that of the original 12 gauge stock, but will promote proper function of the firearm. Since the Browning B2000 12 gauge butt stock is now obsolete and no longer available the Browning 20 gauge butt stock is the only replacement available for owners of the 12 gauge who wish to continue using their firearm. | |

The production of the B-2000 Automatic Shotgun began in late 1973. Production ceased in 1980.

In 1976 Browning re-standardized its serial number identification. The B-2000 was discontinued in 1980.
