Firearm bluing has been called many things over the years: Hot Blue, Black Oxide, Caustic Blue, Salt Blue and more. Regardless of the term you use Midwest Gun Works is the nation's premiere location to perform this service. All of our bluing services are performed by gunsmiths who know and understand the finer points of firearm bluing.
Pricing includes all applicable parts, disassembly and reassembly.
- Any touch up engraving, stampings, lettering, etc. will be quoted upon receiving firearm.

The work was exceptional, deep rich blue. The edges of stampings on the barrel remaind sharp and crisp. The shop foreman noticed a small error before it even ledt his care and had it reblued at no cost beyond original qoute. I will trust all my firearms to them. John
