Good overall just make sure you have a proper tool to install it is longer than average of a front sight it can be bent or installed crooked if you do not have the correct tools

I have always loved the TFO sights and have had them on probably 6 different guns. I prefer them to the new TFX. Problem with buying tritium is often you dont know how bright they will be but the front sight I just purchased from MGW was nice and bright. I am sure I will get many years of service! I was looking for a slightly lower front sight. My sig 229 and 226 were set up to shot with a combat sight picture but my 229 was just shooting a bit low. I had the factory white dot #6. Switching to the #8 and being able to see that glowing green dot in all light conditions really has me taking out the center of targets now. Made me love a gun I liked a lot!

I had the X-ray stock sight that I liked but thought this would standout better. It does. It is better in some situations like the range lower light or overhead light is better indoors. It is the same or better depending on situation never worse. It is identical in the dark.
I put it on with a punch. Getting it off was not easy but fitting and insulation was not bad.
