Necessary for the proper function of your Trigger Bar, to keep the Disconnect Tab in contact with the bottom of the slide. Helps to insure Out of Battery firing cannot occur. Also some Failures To Fire, can be traced to a weak Trigger Bar Spring. Good to keep as a spare part, even dry firing should be counted in addition to a fired round count, in the number of cycles that have occurred, which is what wears out a spring.

Looks like SIG is replacing all the hammer fired pistols with the cheap plastic striker fired ones. Too bad!! I have all steel and alloy framed ones. Better get parts or they'll all be gone. Thanks MGW always looking for parts
