Even though the 788 has been discontinued we still sell hundreds of these triggers. Adjustable from 1.5 to 3.5 lbs, the trigger comes with safety and bolt stop attached.

The Canjar 788 trigger is a big improvement over the stock trigger, i had to do a little work on the stock with my Dremel tool to grind a little stock material for proper fit but worth the time, trigger has a very nice pull worth the cost!

After searching the Internet with no luck for a Timney trigger for My Remington Model 788, I found MIDWESTGUNWORKS.COM. They had the trigger in stock and at a very good price. The shipping was reasonable and fast. I Highly recommend Timney Triggers, and I highly recommend MGW.

The Timney trigger compliments the fine 788 rifle so well. The original trigger was the weak link in a solid platform. It feels like a whole new rifle and installation is fairly straightforward to anyone with basic mechanical skills.
This was my first purchase from MGW and assuredly not my last. I was very pleased with their customer service, pricing and the quick response when the item came into stock. Good company to deal with.

No fitting required on my Remington 788. Was able to adjust to a light trigger pull with no creep or drag. A clean breaking trigger.
