Did some research calling Winchester. 9422 original hammer spurs were threaded and screwed into the hammer. I have used many aftermarket spurs on other guns such as Marlin and Browning. But this spur did not work on my 1976 model 9422. MGW was fair and let me return it to them. They are top notch in service. Good company for sure.

I think this one is for the straight 94 rifle, it's not a good fit on a 9422 model. I ended up returning mine....... On a different note, the return was easy with MGW and the refund was prompt--all good!!
