Description: Standard Rifle Trigger, Remington Model 700/40X (w/o Safety) / Beretta Mato. This extremely reliable trigger is specialized for hunting with a 3 way trigger adjustment. Adjustable for weight of pull, overtravel and sear engagement. You can adjust the trigger pull weight to be anywhere from 1.5 pounds to 3 pounds. These triggers release crisply without any "creep" or inconsistency in pull pressure. This trigger will fit the Beretta Mato, Remington model 700 and 40X rifles, as well as the XP-100 pistol. Caution: Although it is possible to adjust this trigger to less than 1 1/2 pounds, the practice is NOT recommended because it can result in unintentional firing.
Note: This trigger does not come with a safety. You must use the safety from your original Rem 700 trigger. If you have the newer X-Mark Pro, you must purchase a safety kit and bolt action release.
