The edges on each end of the spring where is was cut were rough and bound up in the mainspring housing. Not what I expected from this brand.

I'm using this spring in my Colt Defender 45. It has just the right amount of hammer tension to allow a "perfect" hammer drop. No misfires and easy hammer cocking. A nice product and I always keep a spare handy.
