Description: Timney Alpha Smith & Wesson M&P Trigger. Machined from durable aluminum with nickel-plated steel components, this trigger set is designed for Smith & Wesson M&P Gen 1 and M2.0 models. This drop-in upgrade features a factory-tuned pull weight of 3 lbs with no creep. This premium set is compatible with all your pistol's original components. This kit includes the trigger, an alignment pin, the sear, a .05 Hex Key wrench, a pin punch, and the striker block plunger.

- Three-pound pull weight* (slightly higher pull weight for original M&P Gen 1 models)
- Crisp trigger break
- Teflon nickel (NP3) - sear and safety plunger (this process virtually eliminates friction, allowing for an extremely smooth feel)

I received the new Timney trigger quickly without any problems. I wanted to instal the trigger myself even though I do not have much experience. The YouTube video Timney produced was very helpful. Once I installed the trigger I took it to the firing range and could not believe how smooth the trigger pull was. I am a retired police officer and was used to the stock triggers whose primary purpose is to insure there are no accidental misfires. As a result qualifying yearly was painful and frustrating. The Timney trigger is a dream come true and I can recommend It wholeheartedly.

Perfect trigger for someone wanting a race gun, I would never recommend in a carry gun. This trigger is a clean trigger, clean break and reset, (but very light). The only problem I have with it is, having a line-up of M&P pistols, it no longer feels like a M&P. I shoot over 1k rounds a month through a few M&P pistols, I prefer all of my M&P triggers to feel very similar riding the reset. It takes some getting use to, it is very fast. Coming from someone that shoots precision rifles with very light 2-stage triggers.

you tell the difference compare to the OEM competitor trigger, my competitor trigger breaks at average 5.5lb from the factory and Timney is breaking at around 4lb at the middle of the trigger pad. Generally shorter takeoff, and less reset.

Installed this trigger in M&P 45 (gen 1). After installation, the trigger would not go back far enough to release the striker. Called Timney for customer service and left message. They never returned my call. Then I emailed Timney customer service. They never responded to my email. Eventually I managed to get the trigger to work myself by changing to a different trigger spring. Once I got it to work, it seems to work fine, and the flat face of the trigger improves the pull as it is designed to do.

Throw away the installation instructions that come with the trigger. Go to the Timney website and watch the video of the installation, do this and the trigger job is absolute snap..

Great trigger! I have both the flatty and this trigger and prefer this one. The hinge looks weird but it’s not an issue at all. The trigger breaks in the vertical position. I definitely recommend!
