Description: TriggerTech Competitive AR Primary Trigger, Black Flat Trigger. Designed from strong steel and aluminum components, this black finished straight Competitive AR Primary trigger from TriggerTech is a breakthrough zero creep upgrade for your AR rifle or pistol chambered in popular calibers such as 5.56 NATO, .223 Rem, .300 Blackout, .308 Win and more. This drop-in ready, non-adjustable, trigger with an overall pullweight of 3.5lbs uses the patented Frictionless Release Technology to achieve a more reliable and crisp trigger pull than any other trigger technology on the market. A cleaner pull of the trigger translates to more accuracy in every shot. Perfect for 3 gun competition, hunting, harsh environments, precision shooting, and more; TriggerTech AR triggers are made with the highest of standards and materials.

The Competitive AR Primary Trigger is a non-adjustable trigger designed to enhance the accuracy and precision of an AR for roles that consistently favor a lighter pull weight. Featuring Frictionless Release Technology (FRT), this drop-in AR trigger has a short, two-stage action, designed to feel like a 1911 trigger. This action provides a true zero-creep break, extremely short overtravel, a sub 0.030" tactical reset, and offers outstanding reliability even in the harshest environments. The pull weight is fixed at 3.5 lbs and due to there being truly zero creep, most shooters report the pull weights feeling ~0.5lbs lighter than a friction based trigger of the same measured pull weight. The lower pull weight does not affect hammer force so you can count on dependable primer strikes.

Frictionless Release Technology, along with hardened 440C stainless steel internal components ensure corrosion resistance and an extended service life. As Frictionless Release Technology does not rely on coating, polishing or lubricating the key engagement surfaces, trigger pulls will be more consistent from shot to shot and after thousands of shots than you ever thought possible.

Frictionless Release Technology

TriggerTech developed FRT to get away from the limitations faced by sliding friction triggers (all other triggers are sliding friction triggers). FRT is comprised of a patented, free-floating roller that is captured between the sear and the trigger. This advancement makes it possible to engineer the ideal release characteristics into every one of these TriggerTech triggers.

TKR Technology

TriggerTech set out to develop a trigger with leading overtravel and reset control and developed a new component to achieve this. TKR Technology utilizes something named the "ticker" - an intermediary component that can pivot freely from trigger lever to enable the sear to release without requiring further displacement from the trigger lever. This minimizes overtravel and sets you up for the perfect reset - one that is short (< 0.030") but remains tactile and forceful enough so you are not wondering if your next shot is good to go.

FLTWR Spring Technology

High performance AR triggers often have a reputation for failing to consistently deliver sufficient hammer strikes. To ensure TriggerTech was not type-cast they developed FLTWR Spring Technology. FLTWR Spring Technology is simply a flat wire hammer spring that enables more coils and provide more force into the hammer. This innovation results in more dependable primer ignition, less variability in bullet velocity and a longer service life for your trigger.

TriggerTech Levers

The trigger lever is where you connect with your firearm and TriggerTech believes it should be perfect. Their curved triggers have that perfect amount of bend and the vertical grooves which are there to help keep your finger in place. Their straight levers offer a different feel and enable operators to comfortably adjust trigger pull weight by moving their finger up or down on the lever. The edges are neither round nor sharp enabling control without discomfort. The locator numb is large enough to be noticed yet minimalist enough that it is possible to effectively operate even with your finger over this point.

I love the look and feel of this trigger, but we are still in the middle of our "build" so i (we) haven't tested it yet.
