Finish is flat black.... does not match the blue luster of the factory cap

Unlike the factory magazine cap that has the Browning high luster blue finish, this cap appears to be flat black paint, or perhaps parkerized. It will work, but the eyelet does not spin like on most sling magazine caps. It is fixed so you must loosen the magazine cap to get the sling swivel lined up to work properly. So, while it will work, it is a bit of a disappointment for the indicated reasons.

It fits my SX3 20 gauge but it sits a little low in the wooden forearm making it somewhat difficult to tighten as well as to unscrew it. The original magazine cap is more elongated making it easier to screw on and off.
If the magazine cap I received had been similar in style to the original, it would have been a 5 star rating.
