Browning T-Bolt Thumbhole Varmint Stock, Green Laminate

I love it. I had to make the barrel channel bigger but knew that before the purchase. In my opinion this is the most comfortable and best looking stock ever made for a browning.

Had been considering a Boyd's stock for some time until I found MGW carried original Browning thumbhole stocks and at an amazing price. This stock is a beautiful mix of browns, greens and blues with a satin finish. From the factory it has something like a resin bedding for the front of the receiver which helps lock everything together. Newer T-Bolt rifles all seem to have the same dimensions, I had no trouble dropping a .22 magnum "Composite Target/Varmint" action into it with a perfect fit. Barrel appears well free floated, too. These thumbhole stocks are definitely only for right handed shooters. My only gripe is the front swivel stud. The stock flows downward a short ways behind it which means a Harris bipod will not be able to rest flat against the forend. Do watch out for dings. A spent handgun casing from a neighboring lane nicked this stock quite easily. In my opinion this is the nicest stock available for any T-Bolt, I hope mine lasts forever.
