Description: Browning Model B78 Sporter Stock and Forearm Set, Gloss. Crafted from quality walnut with a gloss finish, this forearm and stock set is designed for the Browning Model B78 single-shot rifle. The stock comes with a rubber recoil pad and a steel grip cap. The forearm features engraved checkering for a positive grip. This stock and forearm set is offered by Midwest Gun Works at special set pricing. The finish work that Browning did on both parts is very good looking and on par with their assembled firearms. The B78 had several iterations and this set is for a round barrel. The pistol grip is also much chunkier so it doesn’t fit my hand the same as the original stock that is damaged. As such the finish will need to be stripped and the pieces fitted to work with my rifle, which isn’t unexpected.
