MGW keeps pinging me about reviewing this product, so here goes. It works. It is easy to understand and align on my old Winchester 1400 MKII with the bolt release on the bottom of the receiver. Don't know about releases on the sides of receivers. Looks like a problem. Given the size and tight fit of my charging handle (finger sized), I had to do some minor filing to be able to bring the bolt fully to the rear. Then had to detail file with a chain saw sharpening file to clean up the rogh edges so as to not cut my finger during a sloppy charge. It would have been fortunate to have been able to notice the problem before adhering the shell catch to the side of the receiver, but it worked out. Once installed, the first round went right through, but by pinching the prongs closer together I was able to get consistent catching of hulls thereafter. I tapped the part (flange?) that acts as the catch to a tigher hold on the prongs when they are closed to better hold the prongs in place. I was able to see before installing that removal of the prongs by sliding them forward was not going to work due to the forend location and fit.

price was ok.. It's a needed item when Trap shooting a semi auto. Worked great.it never missed a shell and i didn't have to worry about ejecting the dead case on the ground or the next man on station.

Very good catcher. I had only seen one other like it at our clay shooting club, so I did a search for it on the web and found this one! Work’s well, and have had a few inquiries about it already!
