I was shooting 115 gr Tula steel ammo, it is already a relatively soft shooting cartridge, plus APX is a flat shooter and add this to the mix and you have basically a 22lr pistol in terms of recoil and follow up shots...

I had to return mine too long for the Centurian or Compact. Please make a heavy duty spring for the Centurian/Compact model. However I can testify that the quality of the product was on par with the original so if you have a full size APX this should work well.
